Our JAS-certified organic hojicha is a dark roast tea, made from the Yabukita cultivar. Made from roasted Japanese green tea, hojicha is rich, nutty, and toasty, with a gentle hint of sweetness. This grounding and comforting tea makes the perfect companion for a slow, mindful tea practice.
Naturally low in caffeine, hojicha is perfect for mindful afternoons or a calming evening ritual.
Similar to matcha, just add 2 scoops (or more!) of the hojicha powder to your chawan, whisk until a delicate foam forms. Serve as is, or add your favourite milk for a creamy hojicha latte - enjoy hot or cold. Each canister makes around 15 servings.
*Our canister includes a 30g pouch of organic hojicha powder.
